5/28/11

So in act 2, Nora and Dr.Rank are flirting. I'm not surprised. From the beginning of the play everyone thought she was a "harlot" She was talking to him about her silk stockings. Apparently back then it was a big deal to have them. After all this flirting Dr.Rank tells her, he loves her. He also tells her that she lead him on. This isn't surprising. I mean the guy goes over their house everyday, no one would go over their "friends" house everyday if they didn't have a legit reason.

Also in Act 2 Krogstad gives Torvald a letter about everything Nora has done. This means he tells him about her borrowing money, and forging the signature. Nora couldn't convince Torvald to keep Krogstad so this was what Krogstad did to her. However Nora tried her best to keep it from Torvald as long as possible. So she distracted him with the tarantella to make sure he didn't go to the mailbox. It worked, till they got home from their dance and he opened the letter.
